I cant say enough good about this hotel. It was affordable, clean, the staff was friendly and polite, they have a nice pool and hot tub, they have a wonderful breakfast every morning AND the location is great! The 6 miles into the city is easily navigated within 10 to 15 minutes if thats where you need to be and yet you dont have the shady downtown KC element to be concerned about. We just had to spend 3 weeks in KC at the hospital and my only regret is not finding this hotel sooner.

This experience was awful in comparison to our last stay Sept on 2023 My husband and I brought my son and daughter in law to KC for a weekend away from the kids and it was not a great experience. We arrived Friday. Unpacked, freshened up, went shopping, then went to dinner and came back to discover our air conditioner was not working. In fact, the temp rose 4 degrees. We had to switch rooms let me remind you, this is 4 people who were unpacked! Im not happy, but what are you going to do? The threshold between the bathroom area and the carpet, was frayed and had tacks or nails sticking up out of it thankful we didnt have kids in our room. The free breakfast wasnt near as good as it was in Sept. they have definitely switched to a can sausage gravy, and the coffee was literally mud! It wasnt like that last time either! I dont know what has happened.. Chris (I think hes a manager) wasnt his former cheerful self either. Something has changed and not for the better. And to top it off, there wasnt any compensation for having to repack and unpack our room not even so much as a coupon. I dont think well be back, which makes me sad since I loved it so much our first time.
