image Sheri Gold is awful. Fought me over a $35 no-show charge for a grooming I missed. She lied twice: (1) that they called me with a reminder, which my phone records disprove, and (2) that i requested that specific groomer. Which I've never cared about in the least. I'd avoid this woman like the plague, because she is the plague.

image I love two dogs and a cat! It is very convent that they provide all service including boarding, grooming, and veterinarians. I would suggest downloading the app to keep track of pets needs.

image Dr. Strickland has been treating my dog Maze for heart worms this past year. Her and the staff made sure I was well educated through out this difficult experience. I always had the help and support I needed. They were so comforting through out this entire time. Dr. Strickland is very thorough and takes her time. I value her analytical/logical yet very compassionate approach to veterinary care.
Maze is now officially heart worm free as of TODAY. She can now run and play with out fear. All thanks to Dr. Strickland and TDAAC staff.

image Update: I want to speak beyond the COVID stuff! I love, love, love this vet. I see Dr. Strickland most of the time, though the entire staff is great. I've seen Dr. Strickland since about 2001 (dogs, cats, and rabbits), when she was at her previous office, and I have no regrets about following her here despite the distance. (We literally live within walking distance of two vet offices and instead drive 20 minutes, though I know those places are wonderful.)
The staff knows the personalities of all my cats and plan accordingly. Luckily, most of them are pretty good, but I've had spicy ones in the past and they never seem flustered. Dr. Strickland saw an aggressive dog my family had when I was young, and she even had a plan in place for him, though I can't speak to specific policies at this office.
They do their best to get my pets in ASAP during emergencies, and I've managed to avoid a lot of ER visits for these stinkers. This often means dropping them off when they open and picking them up later in the day after they can squeeze them in. They also do dropoffs for short appointments that would be easiest to do when there's extra time rather than a specific hour or if you can't stay.
They always go above and beyond, talking to peers in different specialities without charging for that work. They don't talk around issues and give you the straight scoop without losing empathy. They will do everything they can to save your pet but will advise you if they think quality of life or chances of success are low.
I've never been made to feel paranoid. I've gone in with "gut feelings" a couple of times, and not only have I been taken seriously, they actually did find things because they trust the pets' humans and search just as they would if they knew there was a real issue.
They also tell you when something is outside of their abilities and refer you elsewhere. Remember, this is like a human GP's office. Like your human GP can't treat everything, neither can they, and that's okay!
The pet app they use is super helpful, and you can schedule appointments online and send emails. I often bring in two pets at a time, and they're technically scheduled about 15 minutes apart to accommodate both of them.
Cost-wise, I find them to be on par with a lot of other places in the area (based on talking to people who go to different vets). They will talk to you about different options at different price points when options are available.
I have had to put animals to sleep at their office, and it's always been as positive an experience as it can be. I've also lost animals at other places, and they send me a nice card afterward, with the staff members who worked with my pet all writing personalized notes. I feel they love my cats as their own.

They did a great job with social distancing during COVID. Lots of signage to make the expectations clear, workers in masks, vets call you on the phone for discussion.

image Picked my dog up from doggy daycare and the front desk workers informed me they noticed my dog SLIGHTY limping. My dog is brought out to me walking out on 3 legs, unable to put any pressure on one of her legs. We were not informed of this injury until we picked her up at 6:00pm nor were they able to tell us what happened. They do allow you access to watch your dogs during the day while at daycare and each time there are anywhere from 15-20+ dogs and only one employee to watch all of them. Very unhappy with our experience and now left with a vet bill to make sure my dog isn't seriously injured.
