Super 8 by Wyndham Lenexa Overland Park/Mall Area

We had a chance to visit family in the area and found this place with Wyndham rewards. Staff was great. Close to town. A bit of noise - as it was Friday night. As a matter of fact, we came back Saturday night too. With breakfast and coffee to get things started. Yes please & Thank You. The people working there gave my Mom the choice of the first level so she didn't have to use the stairs. Thanks again. At 82, she appreciates every kindness shown. Rooms: Comfortable. Checked the reviews and was skeptical at first, but was glad that it was worth the value for a one night stay.

Stayed there about 1 month for work. The washing machine was broken the whole time and the owners failed to fix.

When I arrived I went to my room and I couldnt tell if it was incense or marijuana that I was smelling. I got into my room and its stuffy - its early March so it shouldnt be that bad. I see that above and below the a/c unit are rolled up towels to fill the gap and on the right side of the unit is wide open and I can see clear through to the outside. The window is open, which I found odd, until I saw that the a/c unit was unplugged and not working. I plug it in, turn it on and leave for a couple hours to get dinner with a friend. I come back and the unit is running but its not blowing any air. I ask the front desk for a room change. They come up and look at the a/c, he gets it working, no room change. Somewhere in the middle of the night it does the same thing - motor is running but the fan is not blowing so it gets stuffy, but its the middle of the night and I am too tired to get up and go through all the trouble of a room change. All in all, not a great experience - didnt sleep very much at all due to smell and a/c not working. I would NOT recommend this location at all.

We stayed last night great hotel comfortable bed and comfortable pillows loved the staff very nice would strongly suggest to anyone great prices to , will definitely come again soon .
