Andrea took some amazing photos for me in WDM, Iowa last fall. Despite the challenges of dealing with potential difficult kids, Andrea remained patient and professional throughout the entire session. As a photographer myself, I had high expectations for a session and the end result. The photos turned out beautifully, capturing the essence of the fall season in Iowa. I highly recommend Andrea for her talent, creativity, and ability to work with people that may be harder to get excited for a photo session! She truly exceeded my expectations!

Andrea was a dream to work with. She got to know me, my story, and my heart and perfectly captured it in my photos. I felt seen and celebrated through the entire process. I took part in her "Lift Your Soul" package after a very emotionally difficult divorce and couple years since as a gift to myself and she made the experience worth every cent. I was looking for a photographer for my teen sons senior pictures. I wanted to find someone flexible and who took amazing, outdoor pics. I also needed someone who could work 1 on 1 with their unique personalities. I came across Andrea, the owner of With Light and Lens, on Facebook. I stalked her page and scrolled through all the beautiful pictures. I finally reached out. Her cost was within my budget, so I scheduled my first son, Xanders, Senior Photo Session. Andrea sent me a questionnaire about Xander. It covered EVERYTHING. Xander is pretty chill, so I chose the 3-hour session. Andrea met us at the Botanical Center. We went inside and she started giving Xander directions. She was patient, kind, and jumped right in with Xanders silly attitude and jokes. I know Xander had an absolute blast! Three hours flew by, and we ended in the middle of downtown. She took so many amazing pictures, and I was so excited to receive the gallery. I didnt really have any reservations for this session. The turnaround time to receive the gallery was phenomenal and the choices were SO difficult to make as they were all awesome! I scheduled her for my second son, Malachis, senior session the following year. I was a bit more conservative for this one as Malachi does not enjoy having his picture taken. I did a 1.5-hour session. We met at Red Rock Lake with Malachi in his suit. I didnt need to worry. Andrea got right to work directing Malachi where and how to pose and Malachi fell right in line. I do believe he even had fun! Of course, his pictures were stunning as well! I had also scheduled Andrea to be our event photographer for Xanders Grad Party and she went above and beyond! I am terrible at remembering to take photos, and having her there, I knew I had nothing to worry about! All the photos come out amazing. If you are looking for a photographer who takes amazing indoor and outdoor pics, one who is communicative, interested, and invested in taking and presenting the best photos, look no further! With Light and Lens is my go-to from now on!

Andrea is such a talented photographer! She captured beautiful photos of my family on a day that turned out to be colder than expected. She is warm and welcoming, and made my littles laugh and have fun while having our picture taken! She was also super patient with me, as I am awkward when it comes to posing for photos! Highly recommend her. The pictures came out so beautiful too. Thank you Andrea!!
