Along with multiple other unprofessional behavior, today convinced me to find another financial institution to take my money to. I tried calling the Grinnell WF bank FIVE times over the course of a couple of hours but the automated system kept me on hold for several minutes each time only to hang up on me after stating, "All of our staff are busy with other customers and can't take your call." Finally, I drove to the bank (five minutes away) and found SIX employees standing in a huddle talking and giggling and ZERO customers in the bank.

I stamped almost $30K in checks with "Deposit Only" and sent my business partner to Wells Fargo to deposit them. She also has her name on the account in which the checks were to be deposited in. Wells Fargo refused to deposit my checks without my signature regardless of having the "Deposit Only" stamp. So; evidently any other person finding these checks, whether I know them or not, could abscond with these funds if found. Evidently WELLS FARGO DOESN'T UNDERSTAND' OR CARE' THAT BY ENDORSING THESE CHECKS PRIOR TO DEPOSIT MAKES THEM A TARGET FOR THEFT. Once my accounting year is done I think (pretty sure) I will look elsewhere for my banking needs. If this was the first PITA issue I have had here I would let it slide' but.. I wonder why Wells Fargo is laying off so many people..

went in to set up a business checking account. they didn't want to do it because they close in 40 min. tried to do it online said I had to come in. then they said I need to make an appointment to open the account. just go to chase its easier
