I switched my business and personal accounts over to Two Rivers last month. Every time I stop in the bank, they know me and they do whatever needs to be done to make sure I have a good experience. I usually deal with Auggy Anderson, and I appreciate his effort to provide great customer service.

My company had several business bank accounts with Two Rivers Bank. We had transitioned most all of our outside bank relationships under their roof. In 2022 we failed to notice some small charges from American Express being debited from one of the bank accounts. All the sudden there was two very large charges to the accounts which we immediately knew wasn't anyone of the authorized users on the account. We came to find out not only was it not a Two Rivers Bank confirmed authorized user name, but the company used via American Expresses online payment system for ACH Payments to their card, wasn't even the name of our company. Someone had our banking and routing number, not the right name of company or authorized user name and Two Rivers Bank allowed those payments too debit from our business account. When we promptly informed our bankers of the fraudulent ACH debits, they appeared to be all hands on deck with their back office and security team getting to the bottom of it. While this was happening, the company was out the funds. The bank promised we were going to be covered, in the meantime we filed a police report with the Des Moines Police Department. After months of the bank not covering the nearly $10,000 in charges, they fired a few bankers that were working on the case and closed all of our accounts. They then turned us over to the market branch manager Tim Quick who subsequently told us it was between US "the victim" and the credit card company American Express and they weren't going to cover the funds they promised. Tim Quick then referred us to Aaron Baltisberger, SVP, Senior Operations Manager who only will reply to us by saying:Two Rivers is unable to resolve your issue with Amex as this matter is between you and them. Amex will not speak to Two Rivers about your matters. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you Aaron Baltisberger SVP, Senior Operations Officer How would you feel about banking with them? They are willing to buck FDIC - just tell you as a client, sorry, you're out 10k and on your own. To make matters worse, they even told us we're not allowed back at the bank. This bank seems to be under a lot of pressure if they can't cover their promised mistakes. Maybe we have a local SVB on our hands. I would stay away.

I have not been happier with a bank in a long time. I pay no fees even if an ATM charges me they reimburse me. Free checks and I only wish they were busier because I dont want to lose them.

Started out really great and attentive, but in the last year excessive turnover seems to have resulted in bad training. They couldnt handle a simple wire transfer (after 2 attempts and 2 months, I opened a new account elsewhere and it was completed in 2 days.) They couldnt get us Euros for a trip to Europe. Then when we got back they didnt know how to deposit them. They arent actually open on the weekend, as they claim. Instead you have to use virtual ATMs and the agents are quite limited in services offered. Their website fails to sync and maintain a connect to our accounting software despite their claims it can. They declined transactions because they didnt inform us they have a $1000 daily cap on card transactionseven if your account has the money. And employees seem to always call a manager whenever I request simple banking services. I complained about some of this, copying their CEO and never got a response. I hope they get their act together. Update: its been over a month and a their CEO and wire department still have not responded.
