    My fiance and I are currently in the market for a home. I was recommended Kyle Langenberg by my parents and sister, who had rave reviews about him. I also have had plenty of good experiences with GreenState, having had 2 car loans through them in the past with a 100% on time payment record. We decided to sit down and go through the pre-approval process. We told Kyle the price range we wanted, an example property, and gave all our info. Kyle told us we were shooting way too high, and pre-approved us for an amount that was far less than we had been approved for separately when we both owned houses in the past. When we brought up this discrepancy Kyle took a cheap shot at our spending habits, muttering about eating ramen noodles for a month straight to pay off debts. When the only loans we have are our cars and student loans. We realized Kyle had calculated more than triple on my student loan payment, jacking up the DTI ratio. When I pulled up my Edfinancial account to show him, and offer to call Edfinancial to get a letter saying I dont pay near that much, he would not budge and wouldnt discuss it further. Long story (not so short), we went to a different place the very next day and were pre-approved for EXACTLY what we wanted. The person we did see worked with us, and spent the time discussing options and helped me do what I needed for student loans. If this is the direction GreenState is going, its truly tragic because they have been wonderful otherwise. The people who did refer me to Kyle were shocked, and they are definitely not going to refer any more business his (or Greenstates) way.

    5 stars! I came in to discuss with Matt Metcalf about my auto loan. He helped me solve my insurance issue and made everything easier. He was very gentle and nice. I'd recommend anyone with Matt Metcalf. EDITED: They gave me false hope by saying I'll get my refund for my car insurance in 30 - 45 days and I never did or received it.
