Good luck if you live here because if property damage is done then blamed on you the property manager refuses to hear your side of the story and gives you the boot instead. Also, beware, SarahMarie Hardy, the property manager is fake to your face and goes behind your back and says other things, is also known to violate FERPA which are federal privacy laws.

Stains galore, unqualified management, walls are thin as paper. Watch out for the hole in the wall-oh wait that's where your AC unit goes? Which they sometimes take out in the winter..where you'll be left with a hole in the wall..The residents are great! Just kidding. They sit around all day like hens and tear people to pieces with vile words and ridicuous stories. God forbid someone dies in an apartment, people dont mourn the loss of their friends, they instantly start to claim items in the deceased one's apartment! Even if you leave the apartment better then you left it-you will NOT get your deposit back-please check with Iowa Landlord/tenant laws to see that everything is correct on your part because chances are it is-they just like to pocket it. Not for repairs I promise you. Nothing is ever repaired, just replaced and painted over :) If you have a late-night emergency dont bother calling because you'll get yelled at-let whatever the issue is resolve itself or ruin the apartment. I suggest you take pictures and go through everything with a fine-tooth comb like ALL stains, holes etc they will try to pin them on you later. Enjoy lovely Horizon Tower Apartments :)
