I stayed here for 3 weeks. It is a very clean place. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is 1 employee that was exceptional on the evening shift. I just wish I remembered her name, but she was here almost everyday. Rooms: Clean. Food & drinks: Breakfast is served every morning. It is usually cheese omlets, sausage, biscuits with gravy, waffles you make, boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit and pasteries. Noteworthy details: It is just off the interstate, but quite. It is easy to find. It is beside an Outback that has good service and food.

I am guessing this is a family owned hotel and therefore I am going to provide a review with that in mind. We stay at the Sleep Inn in Lincoln often, so I thought this would be a decent alternative to where we usually stay when we are in Ankeny. I am not so sure I made the right decision, but it definitely saved us a few dollars. Our first room had a clock and phone that weren't working, the heat wasn't getting warm enough to warm the room, and the people next to us were super loud. We asked to switch rooms and the front desk person put us in the room next to the office. This room is quiet, but the fridge doesn't work and there's a stain of some sort in the bottom of the tub. I am sure that keeping on top of repairs can get hard, so I will just say it seems appropriately priced.
