I wish I could say one good thing about this place. Incompetent staff, damp (fresh?) towels, clogged toilet, stained bathtub, outdated stained carpets, smelly rooms, smelly beds, smelly mysterious holes in the wall, WiFi might as well have been in the desert. If you need a place to get some rest, just sleep in your car.

Well this is a very basic hotel. They have a lot of rooms some of which we think are long term or extended rentals and they cater to the construction community. Although the staff (owners and workers) are very polite and super helpful when needed, we found the rooms to be not as clean as we would have hoped to find. The linens we clean and plenty, and surfaces were clean, but the carpets are so dirty that your socks and/or feet will turn black from the grime. The location although convenient is close to interstate so there is a bit of noise and you will find panhandlers not far from the entrance. The breakfast is provided but scant. Not much variety. But it is included. On a positive side the price was very reasonable and the staff are so nice I would still stay here again.

We had no choice of hotels left in Terre Haute so we stayed here. It was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The first room they gave me smelled bad, had dirty, stained sheets, etc. The second room was not much better. The spongy blanket had several cigarette burn holes in it. The toilet clogged frequently but they had a plunger handy! How nice! The TV kept losing signal every time we got near it. Maybe it is possessed? The bed was ok, the breakfast was a joke. Biscuits were hard enough to drive nails. Even the front desk guy went next door to get Bob Evans for breakfast. Days Inn is typically a great brand but this place needs condemned before it collapses. Stay away unless you are desperate for a room like I was! Rooms: Tear down and start over! Normal Bates has higher standards for rooms! His shower was clean and worked! Safety: Lots of smoking and drinking in the parking lots. Was glad my vehicle didn't get broken into. We almost fell on the dilapidated steps every time we used them. Noteworthy details: Needs Hotel Impossible or similar help to upgrade the hotel.

Do not stay here. Even if you are offered 3 free nights and a Wonka Golden Ticket. Do Not Stay Here. We had no choice due to an event happening the same time, and no other available rooms at other hotels with reasonable rates. The "theme" of this hotel is more like a horror movie with cameras in the mirrors. Very uncomfortable, unsafe feeling. Parties all night long, motorcycles revving up at 4 a.m., a barking dog and above our room it sounded like someone was moving furniture and running a marathon the entire night. We didn't get any sleep. The guy at the front desk said "There was no noise last night" when my husband complained. How does he know? He wasn't there, he was at his house getting a good nights rest. My husband also left with dozens of bites all over his body. EWWW. At check out, the guy at the front desk offered a refund in full...my husband called yesterday...nope no refund. They claim they don't remember any such conversation. Seriously, even if you have to drive to the next town over to get a room, do not waste your time or money on this place.
