I no longer donate to and RARELY buy from Goodwill. Prices on most things are inflated beyond what I am willing to pay for secondhand items. Often see used items from the Dollar Tree for more than they cost new. Nope.

Have been a long time shopper at this specific goodwill. Unfortunately they have done away with dressing rooms and my purchase went well past the 14 day return policy. I decided to call but no one ever answered. After driving and going in to the store I met a sweet lady who said that if I found my receipts they could still help me. I went out and found them only to come in to a new lady named Angela. Unfortunately right off the bat she seemed exasperated to have to help me. She did do one of my refunds (to a store credit card) but then was less than kind about the other. When I admitted I was confused because the other employee who had just left for the day made me think it was still okay to return that one as well she spoke to me in a terrible tone and talked down to me for waiting so long. I calmly though with tears in my eyes due to embarrassment stated that I had a rough start to the year and that I just came back to the country this week from vacation and that I was sorry it had been so long. That I just had had a rough time. Despite my tears, asking for a tissue (which they didnt have) and explaining myself Angela continued to speak in a harsh tone to me. She did state that she didnt want to get in trouble for breaking policy and I asked if I could speak with the manager so maybe he could do something about it. He did come out and confirm they couldnt do the refund and I said that I understood and that I wasnt upset at that, just at the fact I stated I was having a hard time and that I felt Angela could have handled that with a better approach and had a little more compassion in the way she handled the situation and spoke to me. Despite that the manager shrugged, both walked away and Angela with a rude tone and very much with sarcasm said have a nice day. I walked back to my vehicle crying and upset. I was mortified at the way I was talked to in there and treated. I worked customer service for eight years. I understand policy. I just wish people had compassion to others and even a little bit of respect.
