Dr. Elsamad and his team are great. No complaints about the level of care whatsoever. They are vested and interested. That said, the wait times are ridiculous. I bring my mom here who has dementia. There has never been a time that we come that we haven't had to sit and wait. Sometimes for more than an hour/ hour and a 1/2. They say it's because they believe each patient "deserves the best care possible". Then why not just schedule more time for each patient? Obviously that's what you are going to provide anyway. My poor mom falls asleep every single time while in the waiting room. There's got to be a way to improve on this point.

This is my very first review for a doctor...I miraculously got Dr.Elsamad to fix my broken ankle this past summer!   I called my insurance company to see who I had in network and he was the first one. I called them on Tuesday and they scheduled an appointment for me the next day.  Then Dr. Elsamad put me on his surgery schedule the next next day!!!  His staff was amazingly caring and always smiling.  And...the doc was always happy and super concerned for my healing.  I could not recommend a doctor more!!!

This awful doctor should lose his license!! He did surgery on my husband and refused to allow any other dr including infectious disease dr to look at it and remove the bandages! When my husband went in for rechecks (2 hour wait) the dr was on vacation and a "nurse" I use the term loosely looked at it! She then texted him and said it looked infected!!! She simply redressed it and told him to come back in a week!!! I took him to a real dr the next day and he is now in the hospital! If he had waited he would have lost his foot!!! If you are unfortunate to have been assigned this dr and still have the ability to run I advise you to run don't walk away from this quack!!! He is absolutely the worst excuse of a dr I have ever seen!!!

Great doctor and staff. WORST wait times. I don't think my wife or I have ever waited under 90 minutes past the appointment times. May want to consider beds instead of chairs in the waiting room... So patients can nap while waiting. Longer wait time... 2 hours 20 minutes and we left because there were still several patients ahead of us. Over-booking champions at the Merrillville office.

Dr Elsamad and staff are great! Everyone is very kind and really makes you feel comfortable. I had a rare case and had to try different things but in the end Dr Elsamad picked the right course of treatment and my wound healed! I would highly recommend Dr Elsamad
