    Dont trust him or his office staff. They are rude at the front desk and do not treat patients like their problems matter. You should be able to put your life in your doctors hands, but you cant even get in touch with him because of his staff.

    He cares, is a great doctor, listens to everything you have to say and will take a much time with you as you need! That is what really matters most to me! If I have to wait to see him it's understandable!

    Ive been with Dr Pierce for over 20 years and his partner Dr Pesavento. I trust these doctors with my life but the supporting staff is undesirable. There are a couple who give you the warm feeling like they care but when it comes to X-rays and imaging it becomes a nightmare. 6 months ago my doctor ordered a cat scan due to a small nodule found on my lung from a X-ray. I called several times during the week trying to get an ins authorization for the cat scan wondering why nobody has called me. I finally gave up because the staff gave me the same story, they are working on it. Called my ins company and they said they released it to my Doctors office staff, the staff never called me or sent it to the imaging hospital I requested even though I constantly called them. Almost a week ago my doctor ordered a follow up xray to check progression of nodule, he said I will be notified of scheduling. Still have not heard from the staff. I dont think my doctor is aware of the staff whats happening. Why am I complaining on a review? As I said, calls didnt work for me before and the doctor doesnt typically take calls for patient complaints, understandably. I will say this though, the doctors appearance is only as good as his support staff. Maybe the office manager should consider some changes? Ive known the staff for a long time, they know me and may be able to figure out who is writing this review by my comments but what do I have to lose? Taking a big risk because a doctor can pick and choose his patients and generally he is going to support his staff and believe what they say. He has no choice! My point in all this is, if you are going to consider these professional doctors, consider their supporting staff. Its hard to find good customer service these days but health care should not be in that category. Especially a long term loyal customer/patient. I have monthly apts with my doctor, so add that up for twenty years plus. My monthly out of cost payment is over $100 cash with a zero balance. That a lot for me! Im over 60 and concerned that I may have a lung issue possibly cancer. Im not looking for sympathy, I just want to know if I have an issue that can be minimized and possibly get it resolved before it grows into something bigger, such as cancer?? Is that too much to ask? Would you want to know if it was you that had the nodule? If my doctor is reading this I would hope he understands my point and would instruct his staff not to retaliate as a result. I dont want another doctor, thats not the issue. Just a little consideration from the staff. I never question the girls when they ask me to pay my balance, every single time I have an appointment, so maybe that something to consider. I will not reveal my name, Im hoping that I get a call as a result of a staff member following up on recent imaging order by my doctor. Its frustrating to have to call the office, the phone technology is minimal. No emails, no messages, just hope somebody answers the phone. Please take this review as a constructive proactive review, not negative. Lastly, why am I taking the time to write this review in such length? I want to live longer than 60 yrs. My health plan starts with my family doctors office.I have nothing negative to say about my doctors, they are well experienced and knowledgeable and mostly care!. My doctor is a brain surgeon. Cant ask for nothing better. I actually love my doctor! He is always concerned about my health, it would probably bother him to see this review. Please make some changes to phone technology and follow up on doctors instructions. I did a thorough research on what my role is and what the staffs role is for getting ins authorization. It primarily rest on the staff to provide an authorization to the facility performing the image, then its the imaging facilities responsibility to call me for scheduling once authorization is received from doctors office. I called imaging facility and order was not submitted by Dr office.
