Best Western Martinsville Inn

Arrived to find my reservation canceled with no prior notice. I was asked to pay a rate 3 times higher than my original rate. Hotel smells like cigarettes and is definitely not worth $400 a night.

It was easy check in the front desk lady was very kind and welcoming all was good and clean I would stay there again!!

Stayed here a couple times. My last stay, well my last attempt at staying went like this. Made a reservation online, I then called the hotel later to inform them I would be checking in super late. They confirmed and said they would hold the room. I arrived at 3:45am to an empty lobby after waiting for a while I decided to go get my phone from my vehicle to call. I called back to back several times with the call ending with this subscriber is blah blah Finally, Im greeted with what can I do for you bud. I said did I wake you! I went inside and even though Im completely disgusted how this is going and try to check in. No warm welcome just a kid, high eating chips and getting my id and credit card greasy! $150.00 to $200.00 a night for this! Youd be better off staying at an econo lodge! I WILL NOT BE BACK AND I WILL BE REQUESTING A REFUND AS I DID NOT STAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im not interested in any response from you except that Ive been REFUNDED!

I don't have much to say about this place. It seemed simi clean. We stayed a week and was doing drywall in a house for work so we got pretty dirty everyday. There was 3 of us and we and they gave us 3 towls to dry with witch isn't enough because im a girl and I use 2 myself one for my hair and one for my body. So we was one shy. But no biggie I went up front and ask the gentleman working for some extra and he was cool gave me a complete set including wash clothes. But the next time I went to ask it was a female working and of course she wasn't very cool to me about it and you'd think she'd understand but when I asked her. Her reply was hang on I'll have to see if I've got some. Knowing they did she hands me two towls no washcloths. She didn't even have to get up to get them. So we had to use a big hand towl to wash with. Then please don't get me started on the shampoo at this place it's crazy I'm pretty sure it damaged my hair and you don't get conditioner don't ask they don't have any. I've got hair to my butt so it's long. So if you stay at this place I highly recommend girl or guy to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash please. But other then that it'd not to bad of a place to stay. I like the gentleman that cleans the place he's funny even though he wasn't trying to be. He's cute in a funny way lol. They also have a decent little breakfast.
