I had a difficult time enjoying my stay at Maple Crest. I really wanted to love it there and I certainly enjoyed the size and quality of the rooms, but it was nauseating being charged so many hidden fees every month. I found staff to be emotionally unavailable and looked to avoid- no, dread going into the leasing office for any particular reason other than putting rent into the box. Felt like they wanted to do literally anything other than help us with questions. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong for that. Overall between the micro hidden fees and the pool being unavailable the entire year due to some excuse about the state (the pool had been uncleaned the entire time, I'm sure the state didn't approve that) and us not even receiving any credit for the only recreational amenity available other than the in-house washer and dryer, I am sad to say that my stay here was unpleasant, and I'd like to think I kept my expectations pretty low. Maybe I'm in the wrong, only sharing my personal consumer experience. Be angry if you must, but it'll only put a band-aid on a seemingly and possibly much larger issue at hand P.S. Maintenance guy, you are a savage. Thanks for being the only pleasant employee there bro

I was lucky to move out of there at the end of the year. I had lived there with my family for almost 5 years. However in the last year and a half things went very downhill. If you live in apartments right around the pool you pay 10 extra dollars a month. Mind you, that's not just when the pool is open that's all year long. Also, mind you, the pool was open 3 weeks last summer. Did we get credited? Absolutely not. Ashanti, the office manager will gas light you, roll her eyes at you, not tell you things until the last moment that are important to people entering your apartment and simply just never be in the office or reply to emails or messages. If you tell her of a problem with communicating she will come up with 100 reasons why she couldn't communicate with you even though that's her actual job. They don't get the necessary things fixed in the legal allotted time that they should be done and they say that's because they don't have any maintenance to be able to do it. However, because you pay them rent that's really not your fault, it's theirs. You're supposed to upkeep on your end but they don't upkeep on their end. If you try to contact corporate they will just send you right back to Ashanti and nothing will get done. We tried to call them, email them several times to no avail. I highly do not recommend!

I moved out a couple months ago now, but Im so glad to be out of here. Do not expect to be able to communicate with management at all if you, like me, have a 9-5 job that doesnt allow you a lot of downtime to answer calls from the office. Ashanti Wright and Donna (or whoever the other lackey in the office is) straight up do not read their emails. At my particular job, I can get in trouble for my phone going off during work hours, so I requested SEVERAL TIMES, via voicemail AND email, that they email me during work hours. Not one of those requests was ever honored. They dont do their jobs, either. We had notices posted on our door four separate times saying maintenance was going to come through for their mandatory air filter change & whatnot. Our air filters were never changed. We ended up doing it ourselves. And the pool was open for all of two weeks last summer, so dont jump at the chance to get in here if one of the reasons for doing so is the pool. Youll be lucky to get a chance to use it at all. Our across-the-hall neighbor waited TWO MONTHS to have his dryer fixed. Thats bad enough, but hes a senior citizen, and had to walk down three flights of stairs and across a busy street to take his laundry to the laundromat across the street. For TWO MONTHS. Bottom line, Id give it fewer stars if Google would allow me to. The management here is either criminally incompetent or intentionally negligent, though I wouldnt be surprised if it was a mix of the two. The price you pay for services you dont receive is not worth it, and the management literally doesnt care about you or their own job descriptions in the slightest. Dont walk. RUN from this place, and dont bother even applying until they decide to get actually decent management in here.

I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Management and office staff and maintenance are all jokes, if you call them out for doing something the wrong way they try to be little and make you feel stupid. Waited 6 months for air conditioning in the summer only reason it got fixed was because I threatened to bring the law. They say there to busy for everyone and everything . Holes in the lobby doors asked for them to fix it and all they said is okay we will and never did, didnt have a working dishwasher for the duration of my lease. When my bedroom closet door broke they said theres nothing they can do. And good luck getting them to answer. Was told I was getting a storage locker in the building when I asked it was full of the previous tenants garbage and when asked to clean and fix it to make it right they said they dont offer them anymore. Basically if you want to enjoy an apartment and feel wanted choice somewhere else.
