This place likes to waste your time when you apply for a job with them. They only hire in friends/family no one else. Literally my mother has been a qma for over 15 years with a solid background and was told to her face they were hiring her and was just waiting for some manager to come back from vacation. Literally said the same to me but no call back returned. Why waste peoples time?

This is the WORST place to work. u get paid twice a month, the pay is HORRIBLE for the work u do, they utilize u in areas that's out of your scope, management is bad at communicating, angie in management changed locks which keeps employees from easy access, Janna the DON, I believe is a alcoholic, she dosen't present herself well as management. There are no cameras around the facility. Specially at night, creeps & weird ppl walking around, certain doors in the facility are unlocked, someone stole the catalytic converter on bloom truck, so your car is NEVER safe here. Some employees r very rude...

My Momma loves this place. She is well cared for & is happy here. I personally love the staff. I would recommend Bloom for anyone who's loved one needs assistance in their golden years.

I visited Bloom at German Church back in July 2019 in search of a place for my grandmother. I met with the Site manager Anna several times regarding my grandmother and in Aug. we felt like we had finally settled on a place for my grandmother. Anna reached out to me the first week of Sept to let me know that the new studio apartments with a screened in porch would be ready at the end of September and she felt like my grandmother would be a good fit as well. Anna went out to meet my grandmother the first week in Sept. and also shared the news with her that she looked forward to seeing her soon when she moves in. Since then I have spoke to Anna twice and she promised me that James the director of nursing would like to go out to meet and assess my grandmother also. Both times Anna lied and we havent heard from Anna or James since. Im really disheartened and appalled at the behavior of Anna and James. Bloom at German Church lacks professionalism, care and concern for others. After the lies, lack of follow up and calling several times and leaving messages with no return calls I cant imagine how the residents are being treated. I would not recommend.

Dear Fiesta Sheisty:Bloom Senior Living's associates and culture are our top priorities, which is why our community is fortunate to have happy associates (with virtually no turnover for the last decade) and happy residents (with high resident/family satisfaction and a growing waitlist). We're disappointed to hear about your experience and invite you, or your mother, to contact our Area Director, James Kesler: [email protected]. We run a robust and selective interviewing process to ensure our team members share our values, align with our mission and are looking for life long careers instead of just a job. Our process is open to more than just friends and families, and we're always looking for rock stars. Thanks, Bloom

Hi:To provide some general context, Bloom Senior Living is a three generation family business that has been providing premium care to seniors since 1965. Our company was founded by a family man that was married to his wife for over 50-years (before she passed from Alzheimer’s) and dedicated his life to serving seniors. His children and grandchildren proudly carry on his mission and are intimately involved in Bloom’s day to day operations. They love spending time with, and speaking to, the residents, associates and families.Bloom at German Church has been in the Bloom Family since 2010 and has operated at nearly 100% occupancy - with a waiting list - for almost a decade. We’ve had the same stable management team in place since Bloom first acquired the community and not only have happy associates (and virtually no associate turn-over), but high resident/family satisfaction. Bloom at German Church is a warm, happy environment full of happy residents, families and associates (that our committed to our residents and Bloom’s aspirational mission of helping seniors flourish, bloom and discover their best selves). The Bloom staff has been well trained, and we’re in the process of rolling out a new, industry game changing education program called Bloom U. You can read about it more here: https://www.bloomseniorliving.com/Education.More specifically, our culture and people are Bloom’s top priorities and that's why we have people who have been with Bloom for generations. We’re; therefore, sorry that your employment with Bloom Senior Living did not meet your expectations. That said, the timing and amount of pay at Bloom is overly competitive; we do, indeed, have an operational model that works well where we ask Bloom associates to work together and go above the call of duty consistent with our Bloom Beliefs; and certain restrictions and tough protocols in place for the benefit of the residents. We wish you much success in any future positions you may hold. If you'd like to talk more about any of this, we'd invite the open conversation and you can contact one of our Bloom Owners at: [email protected],Bloom

Dear Kisha: As we previously informed you, we were waiting on the State to approve the new, additional units so we could accommodate residents on our growing waiting list. We, nonetheless, are very sorry to hear about your experience and can assure you that our residents, families and associates are happy and well cared for at our family owned and operated community. We’ve had a wait list at this community for nearly a decade and have virtually no associate turnover and extremely high resident and family satisfaction. We hope you will give us another chance. Thank you, Bloom Senior Living.
