I came here for a conference and I found the room to be adequate. Nothing extraordinary but also nothing to complain about. However, I do echo some of the sentiments about the woman running the breakfast. I am an adult and am perfectly capable of making my own waffle and getting my own food. I felt she honestly was more trouble than she was beneficial. She was yelling and fluttering about at six am which made it very inconvenient to get food (if she would allow you to get it yourself) and as someone who uses breakfast to finish waking up, I did not enjoy the loud energy. I also found she spoke to some people in a more friendly way than she did others who were of certain demographics. For instance, I was yelled at for shutting the lid on the egg and sausage servers (as I found it) whereas someone else did it shortly after I had and she did not utter a word to them. I found the whole experience awkward, aggressive, and off putting. I think it would be fine if there was an option for made to order breakfasts in an area separate from self serve (like a waffle bar if she REALLY wants to be the waffle lady) so as to ease the flow of traffic and to lower the volume when some people like myself need some quiet in the morning as I drink my first cup of coffee.

For what it is, this place is pretty nice. The room was fairly large with a bed, chair, desk, and TV. The bathroom was also a decent size. It was clean and the hotel had free WiFi and breakfast. The only thing I missed was a pool. It could use one.
