I will never in my life purchase a rheem product again, and if you are reading these reviews to get an idea of a product to buy, stay away from rheem. Not only will you get a poorly made product, you will also have a hard time getting your parts even if its under warranty. I purchased a 40 gallon water heater, and just after the one year mark, the gas valve went bad. It took a week to receive the part. A water heater should last at least 15 years if properly installed and taken care of. Very disappointed, I should have been given a new water heater. So next time I will either go with Bradford and white, or maybe lochnivar if I want to spend a little more. I guess spending more for a better product and better service is well worth it.

2 month old defective water heater. Filed the issue on 12/8 still not resolved. Poor customer service. The representatives do not know how to perform their job. Rheem is not fulfilling their part of their issue
