Blacherne Apartments

I have loved living here the past 2 years! Staff and maintenance are very friendly and responsive, and common areas are clean. Ideal location as it is a 5min walk from Mass Ave, cultural trail/canal, war memorial parks, and downtown library. The building itself has a lot of charm compared to some of the newer downtown apartments, and comes at a very reasonable price. Also includes reasonably priced parking in attached garage.

I recommend The Blacherne to anyone who would like to move downtown. I have lived here for the past 2.5 years and love it! You cant beat the rent, friendly/helpful staff, and quickness of maintenance. Location is ideal sine it is close to the circle, mass ave and canal. The parks across the street are an added bonus.

Truly a nasty complex. The good reviews all gift card incentivized. Beware of this slumlord. EDIT: Im not sure why they are claiming that they dont show record of me but they know who I am and how horrible of an experience they gave me. I was personally asked to give them a good review in exchange for a Starbucks gift card. They are scam artists and live up to the slumlord reputation.

I have been juggling a number of major life transitions and also a large interstate move. I have called and emailed multiple times with a host of questions and re-questions and Isabel and Anna were very kind and patient and responsive. The building itself is unique and one of a kind.

I toured these and saw a bunch of (dead) roaches and pieces of the building falling down. There was also an odd smell in the dated hallways.
