First time to rooster's kitchen. After being seated promptly, it took the waitress about 10-15 minutes to actually greet us. Place is pretty small and wasn't super busy so didn't know what was going on. Very friendly server took our order, an appetizer, a drink, and two main orders. They were very quick to refill our water which was nice but the main food took over 40 minutes to come. The food was quickly dropped off and I didn't have a chance to ask about the drink and appetizer. We got through 3/4 of our food, which I must say was excellent, and when the server came to refill our water, I finally asked about the appetizer. Being that we were basically done with our food, I kindly asked her to take it off the bill and cancel it. Sadly we got no apology. When the check came, it included the drink I didn't pay for. When I told another server about that charge on the bill, it felt like I was annoying her. Again there was no apology. I struggle with this place because the food was so good. I'll try it again to see if the service can match but if not, this will purely be a carry out restaurant for me.

I recently came here with my boyfriend while we waited for our table to be ready at Bohdi, just next door. The vibe was quiet enough so we could talk over a few drinks, which we appreciated. Since we were going to have dinner elsewhere, we only had the cheddar cheese spread appetizer, but the rest of the menu looked really good! The service was good as well. We're definitely going to go back soon for a full meal there.
