Optimistic's Enterprise, Full Service Beauty & Barber salon, established in 1993 by Veronica Townes. I started this beauty journey at Optimistic's with the encouragement and moral support of a strong, loving family. Inspired and motivated by my amazing, proud parents Loveless, and Bridget (RIH) Townes, who worked alongside me every step of the way to build a solid foundation, and manifest a footprint in the beauty industry that would not go unnoticed. Grateful for family...but Praise God, we are still standing, stronger than ever. Get to know why O.E. Salon is the 'Beauty Incubator'.

Our mission at Optimistic's Enterprise was born out of need, not greed. On a mission to find a place to service my hair clients, I realized the type of salon I was hoping to work in did not exist on the southside. The rest is history, we made a family decision to provide a full service beauty and barber experience that would cater to all beauty professionals. Creating before its popularity, the unity of the beauty community. Yes I did, despite the naysayers. I put barbers and beauticians under one roof, with private work stations, known today as salon suites. I recognized a major need on the South side of Fort Wayne, Indiana and established our salon to not only meet that need but also serve as a support system for future beauty industry professionals. At Optimistic's we pride ourselves on being the incubator of the beauty industry, creating an atmosphere conducive for growth and sustainability by offering low to no rental prices for new stylists, barbers, nail technicians and other small startup business ventures. We have served as the incubator for churches and other funtastic ventures. Our goal is simply to foster a thriving community of talented professionals who can flourish and succeed in their chosen careers. Hence our slogan-"WE BRING OUT THE BEAUTY OF TOMORROW IN YOU TODAY."

The name Optimistic's Enterprise is a name that perfectly captures the essence of our beauty salon and its vision. By choosing the word enterprise I was intentionally creating an image of a collective effort a community of businesses coming together to form one entity. This name conveys the idea that the salon is not just a personal venture but a collaborative space where independent booth renters can thrive and contribute to a larger whole.

The word optimistic as a touch of positivity and forward-thinking to the name. It suggests that the salon is not only focused on the present, but also on the future. It implies that we are optimistic about the potential of each individual business within the salon and the collective success that can be achieved by working together. 

By combining the words optimistic and enterprise it demonstrates my commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive community. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining individual characteristics and identifies while also recognizing the strength and value of coming together as one enterprise. This name sets the tone for a salon that encourages collaboration, growth, and the celebration of each stylist's unique talents and skills.
