Genesis Electrical Service

Our church building is over 125 years old so we do run into electrical problems. We call Genesis. Old building, old fixtures that we do not want to lose were failing. Cody, Wes, and Zach did an excellent job. Very professional, polite, and efficient.

Corey Humphrey was very knowledgeable in his work , very efficient and I would request him if I ever need work done again. Very pleased with everything.

I will definitely use Genesis again. Had two outlets that were no longer functioning. Zach came by, found out what was going on, and recommended a specific repair for the service. Turns out squirrels like wires. He was able to describe the timeline, estimate, and other options that could be pursued. He was upfront and honest. They were able to squeeze in the repair same day. Caleb arrived to assist, and they did the repair together. It took a little longer than I expected, but they did a thorough job and inspected/ replaced some other wires that had been chewed into in the vicinity. The final cost was exactly what was initially quoted. They cleaned up afterward. They were respectful of the space and the pets. Everything I could have asked for. One thing that impressed me... They disclosed they accidentally drilled through a piece of drywall. It was so small and out of the way I never would've noticed it. They repaired it. I only mention this, because I don't see this kind of honesty often.

Technician came to my house on 1/26 to troubleshoot a flickering light switch and recessed light that was not working. Charged me an $80 troubleshooting fee and told me the switch was fine and but the recessed light was bad and needed replaced. I purchased a replacement light and the problem remained, plus the switch stopped working within two weeks. I called Genesis to have a tech revisit my house to address what they missed the first time and was told it would be an additional $80 troubleshooting fee. So I paid you once to come to the house, you clearly didn't address the initial problem, and now you want to charge me a second time to figure out what you missed the first time? When asking to speak to a manager, I was told they were all busy but the woman taking my call stated she spoke with the manager and there would still be a fee. Needless to say, I found a different electrician. This one determined that my recessed light worked JUST FINE and that there was an issue with the wiring behind the switch (the neutral wire was not securely connected). DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH GENESIS ELECTRIC. Poor customer service and I don't trust their electricians nor their management.
