What an absolute dump. The hall and the room stinks of a combination of smoke, must, and rot. Rooms are dated. I was afraid to sleep under the covers. Dont take your shoes off because your feet will stick to the floor. (no carpet) I only stayed for about 6 hours to get a nap and get back on the road during a snow storm. How in the hell do they keep a franchise?

I don't know if this is a local management issue or an Expedia issue. We reserved a non-smoking room via Expedia, but when we arrived, the desk clerk told us our room would be a smoking room. There were no non-smoking rooms available. We accepted it because it was Groundhog Days weekend in Woodstock, and rooms were hard to find. The smell was overpowering. In some hotels, there's a strong smell of bleach in the towels, pillows, and bedcovers. I could smell no evidence of bleach in this room. There were burn marks on the bathroom tile and burn holes in the comforter, sheets, and mattress cover. There was also dried vomit on the doorframe inside the bathroom. Housekeeping would have had to stand inside the bathroom and close the door to see it. But my biggest complaint is that we did not get the non-smoking room we had reserved in good faith.
