Downers Dental

Downers Dental was our dentist but let their in-network status lapse without informing patients.. When my college student had a simple cleaning and x-ray,, expecting it to be free, she was charged $221 to our surprise and paid it on the spot. At 1st they said it would be refunded but didnt hold true to that promise. 4 months later they tacked on another $331 to shut me up from pestering them for a refund, so now totalling $553 for a cleaning and x-ray (national average is $150 for uninsured cleaning) saying apparently they forgot to charge us for extra x-rays on top of xrays already paid for. You only get a full mouth xray once every 5 yrs but they did it 4 months apart and now want us to pay! Stephanie said they had to take xtra xrays just ncase my daughter goes to them then in future for wisdom teeth pulled.. Dishonest. Sneaky. Unprofessional. Hard to reach. Unresponsive. Emails are unprofessional. Shocking treatment of clients. EDIT: The $71 that came from the insurance company as out of network was not given to them because they were deducting it from the refund they promised. Now they are calling me unethical for not giving it to them when they owe ME money and we already paid too much and I was promised a refund 4 months ago. Thanks for showing everyone your true colors calling your client unethical.

I have been going to Downers Dental for 25 years and I have never been disappointed in the service. I have never had to wait for my appointment, which is a plus for me. I have been very happy with all the dental work I have had done.
