On 6/16 we called and had this company come out when our AC until wasn't cooling our home. They claimed the unit was low on freon and the capacitor was bad. They claimed to put 2 lbs of freon in and a new capacitor and said to give it 24 hrs to cool down the home. It never takes that long to cool down a home if a central air unit is working properly. By midnight that night/morning of the 17th our home was still over 90 degrees. We tried calling the so called 24 hr service but got no answer until after 8 am the morning of the 17th. They did not like the online review we gave them sharing our experience and disgust of their service so the guy, Ammas I believe, refused to come back out to reevaluate or repair the unit correctly. He said he'd refund the money for the capacitor and take it back. He never did. That same morning we had another company, a much more reputable company, come out and they found the freon was the same exact amount low that Ammas said he put in the day before. They also went in the crawl space and checked the lines for leaks and the compressor which Any Season never did. The other company said that it was very likely freon was never put in since at no point in 22 hrs did the air blow cool out of our vents nor did the temperature in the home drop to a comfortable level. They determined the unit was old and needed to be replaced as it was unrepairable. After paying Any Season almost $1000 we had to spend $5000 to replace the unit. Had Any Season been truly reputable and come back out and they would likely have made a new unit sale. We immediately contacted the credit card company the same day, 6/17 to dispute the charge to Any Season as it seems they did not provide adequate service. We will also be fing complaints with the village and any agencies they are licensed with. We would never recommend this company. Oh and FYI... IF you want your capacitor, we have it.
