Michael Watson, who is associated with Coldwell Banker Real Estate, is a landlord I would absolutely avoid. He is full of fake smiles UNTIL he has your security deposit and first months rent. If you try to bring any concerns to his attention, he will not only talk over you to minimize what youre saying, hell just walk away from you to try and end the conversation. Does not behave maturely or appropriately during serious conversations. He makes rude and snarky remarks under his breath and has never been professional with me. Hes misplaced my rent checks countless times and tried to harass me for rent I had already paid for. No apologies ever. Ive had Michael Watson and his mother Nancy Watson attempt to enter, and physically enter, my apartment without my permission or awareness multiple times. No real apology or correction of behavior. During my final walkthrough when moving out, Michael referred to me as, and I directly quote, You little snotDisgusting way to run a business. Thankfully, Ill never have to deal with the Watson family again, but this is a warning to all others in the area. Avoid the Watson family in DeKalb, IL at Coldwell Banker Real Estate at all costs.
