Brokenpress delivered 2 beautiful custom pieces for our living room - an audio credenza and a matching case - that are well constructed, sturdy, and gorgeous. Throughout the process, and while navigating lengthy supply chain delays, they were communicative and kept us updated on progress. Delivery and installation were smooth and they thoroughly walked us through the construction and operation of the credenza shelving and doors. Very happy with the furniture and the process. I have been following Brokenpress on Instagram for a long time. We dreamed of "one day" when we'd have a special place for our vinyl, important books, and our kitchen stuff. Our dreams were exceeded at every level. The shelves are truly made by an artist. The quality is incredible. Delivery and installation was easy. Literally cried at how beautiful everything turned out (floating shelves and vinyl console). Could not be happier. Do it. Alex is known for his artistic eye and next level craftsmanship. We commissioned him to build a custom hanging cabinet for an oddly located spot in our kitchen. After an initial consultation and measurement, Alex provided a written estimate and drawing of the cabinet. We approved it without revisions. On the day of the install we were super excited by the work and attention to detail. He was able to beautifully match the finish, color and tone of our beloved 15 year old cherry cabinetry. Install required hanging the cabinet in tight quarters. He and his team mate had it installed in no time and without issue. Cant recommend Alex and his work enough. Well be working with him again! This is a long overdue review of a solid walnut standing desk that Brokenpress Design built for me. Simply put, a year later I'm still in love with my desk - it will be a piece that I keep forever. The design process was simple - I gave Alex a few ideas of what I was looking for, he sent me a sketchup of the desk along with a quote (which was quite reasonable), and several weeks later he delivered the desk. The desk is beautiful, and very well built. On delivery, Alex explained a few of the details in the build and finishing process that help to ensure it will look great for years. In the interim, he sent me pictures of the work in progress to help with the anticipation! I plan to work with them again in the future for another piece for my office. This is real furniture, built by hand, that will last a lifetime - the kind our parents and grandparents had (only better)! Service: Custom furniture
