Went to Ikea today around 630pm to get some stuff..during checkout..after we scanned everything in self checkout..register didn't let us pay and cashier had to come count everything, she seems upset about it..and acting very rude. then our kids got some packed cookies without asking us, so we told her we don't need it and she looked us at and rudely told us "do you know we need to discard it now" we hadn't even opened it..so we end up buying it, not sure if Ikea has a policy like that..and we didn't had problem with that..but she was extremely rude to us..but with others she was smiling and talking

The curbside personnel are exceptionally fast and helpful, as well as the people that work inside of the build they all have very good cheerful attitudes and are willing to help when asked . I can't really say I have a downside to ikea but to be honest, if I could say one thing, it would have to be the fact that you have to retrieve your own items at the bottom before paying other then that its a great place to buy home accessories and decor .

IKEA always has great deals on furniture and random items for the home. Shopping is easy because they have bags and carts accessible on each floor. You can also transfer your cart to different floors by elevator or escalator. The swedish meatballs are great if you are looking for a snack...a little pricey, but you are close to Chicago.

It's a Tuesday and the store apparently closed at 5 PM today. This is highly inconvenient and it seems many customers are expecting the store to be open, driving great distances just to find out the store is randomly closed down. A reason I heard given to others is a "coworker event." This is just not a good enough reason for the whole store to be closed so early on a random weekday. Wth IKEA...
