    Very disappointed with my stay. Lobby, hallways smell like a zoo. Rooms are outdated, Tv outdated, bathroom floors sticky I will never book here again, I wanted a hotel and stayed in a motel instead. Never again!

    My stay at 1200 American lane, Schaumburg, IL. has been very disappointing. Before I could get to my room the foul odors in the the hallway reeked of what seemed like dog/cat urine, smoke and neglected carpet odors. I saw someone spraying fabreeze on the carpet. My room smelled unkept and was dated. The customer service was less than stellar, dismissive and housekeeping did not speak English. Im glad I did not bring anyone with me. It would have been humiliating to say the least. This is a nice area, I would have never thought this hotel would be this unfortunate.

    Could not believe it. I needed a late checkout which was denied to me, so fine, I had to extend my stay one night instead. That's okay if it's at the same rate I checked in. But they could barely keep me in the same room (the hotel is half empty), and then doubled the rate after "I'll talk to my manager and maybe you get a refund" was just a trick to get me to pay. They make up pathetic excuses as if you are supposed to take it seriously. LOL at "we can't extend your stay since you booked through a third party, so we have to check you out and check you back in at double the rate (said with a big smile)." They are scamming you, right to your face, while gaslighting you about it. And they enjoy this. To be clear: I paid $170 for three nights, but since checkout is at 11 am, I was forced to purchase a fourth night. I only needed like, mid afternoon checkout. And the extra night costed $90. So they scammed me from $170 to $260. It's not appreciated. Middle finger for this location. Do not stay here. It seems they do not expect anyone to come back after staying here anyway, so they make sure to extract maximum value from anyone that does. If you do stay here, be wary.

    The Place was Nasty and when we got to our room it got even worse the cleaning people had popped our sheets you could tell they had been slept in and it wasnt us so I pulled the cover back to look at them and they had Black Nasty Hair on them I at 2 something had to change the bed then the next day I had to get the cleaning stuff from the front desk to clean it before we could shower it was someone worst nightmare I will NEVER STAY AGAIN I E-Mailed them and wrote them a letter about the Nightmare and NO ONE HAS EVER GOT BACK TO ME TO APOLOGIZE ARE ANYTHING

When you book on a Third Party website, we are not able to extend those reservations like we can when you book directly with us. You can either attempt to book the same room type on the third-party website you originally booked with or extend at our rates. Third Party sites do not have access to our entire inventory and that can cause frustration when wanting to extend.
