Citywide Asphalt & Masonry

They asphalted my drive and promised me a quality job so that all water would run off and not remain on my drive but left me with a lake after it rains. After seven weeks still leaving marks where vehichles are parked. They pretend they can't hear me talking everything I call them to come back to fix their work. They Insisted on being cash paid with no receipt.They are hit and run scammers.

They did our driveway but work is sloppy and uneven and did not clean up afterwards. They also failed to provide receipt or any other documents. Service: Concrete pouring

Shysters. Scammers. Unethical. Deceptive. Con Artists. I could go on. If these people come knocking on your door, slam it in their face and consider yourself lucky. They came knocking on our door and said they were doing drives in the neighborhood and add ours on for $4K, which at first glance is a deal. We signed a contract for a 7 year warranty on their work. They did come back the next day to do the work, but now they want cash only instead of a check or CC as agreed to the day before. They got almost done with the job and came knocking on the door asking for an additional $2K because they had to put the asphalt on thicker than planned. I told them we didn't have that extra money - we wouldn't have signed the contract at all if it had been $6K. He refused to finish the apron until I paid him an additional $1K. They left large oil puddles on the drive that look terrible and got asphalt all over the side walk, in the grass, in the street. That evening he called back and told us the sealing wasn't included in price and he would need another $1.5K to complete that. We talked him down to $750 for the sealing and an additional 3 year warranty (for a total of 10 years). They came and did the seal coat, but got the tar all over our brand new paver sidewalk/front porch and didn't clean it up at all. We asked for an updated warranty in writing showing the additional 3 years. They assured us we would get that via email. We've followed up three times with them in writing and haven't received a response. Just don't even think about using these guys for anything.

I would give this company a zero review! I stay with my Father who has Dementia. City Wide was doing my neighbors driveway. They asked me if I wanted my Driveway done. My Dad's Driveway was in bad condition & holes were beginning to form all over it. They gave me a quote of $400 which I thought was expensive but it needed to get done. I gave him cash thinking they would do my Driveway next, but they said they had a Driveway on the block & would be back when they were done. I found out this was lie and they never came back. The next day I got their tel # from my neighbor & called. The phone was answered by the guy I had paid, and when I said "Is this Chris?" he said "yes". After telling him that he had never returned to do my Driveway after giving him $400, he told me "I'm not Chris, my name is Jimmy" and then he attempted to try & change his voice which he failed at since he has a heavy Irish Brogue. I called his bluff & I told him I wanted my money back since he did a no-show. He hung up on me & several seconds later my phone rang with a muffled, Irish brogue laden voice saying "This is Jimmy". I told Chris that I was going to report him & his company if he didn't return my $400. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY..CHILDISH LIARS & THIEVES!!!!
