Our practice, Lake Forest Pediatrics, used JNC for our new Vernon Hills office. The job was a complete demo of the sleep study office space that we were moving into and build from scratch. They did an absolutely amazing job. They were on-schedule from start to finish, handled all the permitting and inspections and provided us with weekly updates on the projects status. We hit our move-in date and could not be more thrilled with the quality of work they did. Joey is great to work withprofessional, understanding, diligent, and up-front. Joseph Nicholas Construction did an amazing job from start to finish on our Mazda Dealership. This was our first time working with JNC and we were extremely impressed with the effort put forth, attention to detail, scheduling & management of the project, all at a reasonable cost. First day on the job they arrived early with a large team ready to go, and had employees there daily (even weekends) to make progress on our project quickly. They promised us a timeframe & delivered on their timeframe, something you don't see often. I'd highly recommend working with them and look forward to working with the team on future projects to come! VTech Communications recently completed a Tenant Improvement construction project of our office space, in Arlington Heights, IL. Even though I am based in Portland, Oregon, I was asked to be the project manager.
Joey Mariconda of Joseph Nicolas Construction Corporation was one of four general contractors who where invited to bid on our TI project. My initial impression of Joey was favorable, right from the start. He listened attentively to what VTech needed, he took notes on his tablet, which he had already loaded our construction drawings on to. He has great questions and have a few key people with him, during the site walk, who you could tell where inner circle, collaborators.
Joseph Nicolas Construction was awarded our job for three reasons: they bid the best price, because I was managing this project remotely and I needed someone who could use technology to call, email, text or facetime with me, if issues arose and when VTech checked references, I couldnt get anyone to tell me anything bad about their experiences, working with Joey. Most of people I spoke to, said Joey would be or had been, the first call on second and third projects. I can see why.
If you would like to call me and ask for reference on Joey, I will tell you right now, you wont be disappointed with him. He gets things done one time, within budget, he manages expectations, he had excellent communication, when issues typical to construction did come up, Joey was able to roll right thought them. We had several challenges that where pretty tough to deal with and Joey handled them all, like the professional he is.
His crew is tight knit, you can tell they have worked together for a long time and pick up where each other leave off, seamlessly. They cleaned up in the evening, they were as tidy as you could possibly hope for, many of our employees wondered when construction would be started, not realizing it was nearly done, because the crew was respectful of noise in the building.
I only wish, is Joey and his crew where in Oregon, so I could give them more work and more business referrals.
