image My wife and I recently bought a 2024 Suberu Outback at Serra Suberu. We had an appointment with Pierce Allen who proceeded to listen for what we needed in accessories. He let us test drive any car we chose on the lot, and they have many, and we decided on the Outback Premium model. He was not high pressure and he let us make up our mind without pressure which is refreshing. Then he made sure our Outback was washed and filled with gas when we arrived to pickup. He gave us a tutorial on how all the high tech gadgets worked and was very knowledgeable about accessories. Thanks Pierce for a great experience in buying new vehicle.

image Justin Blue is friendly, fun, informative and always willing to help. Patrick McDaniel was likewise gracious and helpful on Justin's day off then personally welcomed me back the following day. Jess Collins gave me a great deal on both my trade value and purchase price while being exceptionally pleasant, present and professional to work with - as always. Alberto Jimenez was very personable and made the financial transaction quick and painless as possible. Tyler Burton kindly went out of his way to greet and thank me for being a return customer. My hobby is car buying and trading so I've interacted with several dealerships. Serra has been the most rewarding and most like family (in the positive meaning or experience of that word) thanks to the quality of its people, products and service.

image Took my vehicle here 3 times. The first time, they said everything was good to go. Less than a month later my car had broken down and I was back. After a hefty bill and a long wait, I got my car back again. The third time I had to come back (also less than a month later) I noticed that the same error code they were charging me 1500$ for was the code from a month prior which they had allegedly fixed for 2000$ a month prior. I took it somewhere else and got it fixed for 500 and have had no problems since.
Additionally, I moved and asked to be taken off of their mailing list multiple times. Over a year later, I'm still receiving their spam.
I love Subaru cars, but this dealership's maintenance department is an outright scam.
An update:
Months later, and no one has reached out. I'm also still receiving spam despite requesting they take me off their list via phone and this review. I guess that apologetic reply was as fake as it seemed.

image I made an appointment for an oil change, a look at a tire that wasn't keeping pressure, coolant pipe o-ring replacement, and replacement of control arm bushings. They did the oil change and ordered the parts needed to have me back next week. I brought it back the next week and was informed that the ball joint would need to be replaced because they had some bolts strip out during the control arm replacement and it'll take several hours, it turns out not to be done until the next day.
The next time I drive the car, I heard a bubbling sound but everything looked okay, including the level of of coolant, so I thought it was just the coolant settling into the pipes after the repair. When I left my destination, I noticed that the AC was pushing out warm air when set to cold. I popped the hood and discovered that liquid has splattered everywhere and there was smoke coming off of everything as well as a burning smell. I made an appointment for the next day but when I tried to drive again, it started making a rattling sound that shook the car, the coolant light was flashing from blue to red, the check engine light went off, and there were other signs of overheating so I had the car towed to Serra. They called to tell me that there was a funnel part left in the pipe during the coolant replacement that caused pressure to build and the radiator cap flew off and the radiator hose was disconnected.
I don't usually drive the car until I head out of town on the weekends so this could have been extremely dangerous to discover on the highway. My car was there for six days and in all of this, I didn't realize until later that they had not replaced my wheel center hub cap when they changed out the tire and the rim was very scratched up.
Edit: It's been over a week since the reply to my review so I wanted to let everyone know that have not received any communication on this matter.
