They lied to me over the phone and enticed me into a situation that put our home in peril of foreclosure by them over a forbearance, deferred plan because of COVID-19

Wintrust Mortgage is archaic and way behind the times. Online systems and pages are not capable of supporting today's consumer needs. This also carries over from their online banking experience. The whole platform is sub-par and in desperate need of updating. It makes a huge difference when managing your finances and loans when you have a user friendly platform. This is NOT the case and it has been this way for the 5+ years I have had my mortgage with Wintrust. Shotty work at best. Hire new and better developers or replace those that decide what should or should not be part of the end user experience, because it appears as though they don't have a clue.

This company is a scam. 3rd year on my mortgage and every year they increase my payment due to negative escrow. They claim that I'm anywhere between $700 to $1,000 in negative. My monthly mortgage started out at $780 a month for a fixed mortgage but now in year 3, my monthly mortgage is $960 a month. There is no way that my taxes and insurance is going up that much every year. Stay away from these crooks. I will be refinancing my loan.
