Holiday Inn Express & Suites Romeoville - Joliet North, an IHG Hotel

The room was nice but a couple things took away from the experience. The towels didn't smell fresh, we never were able to get our rooms clean they never came to clean our room. We asked for new towels and they told us there was a pool party so we had to wait which was fine but they never came to bring us towels, and I was overcharged because someone left an extra item on as they checked me out. I was told I would get a credit back and never did. Overall nice rooms but can't say it was great.

Stayed there last night 03.02.24 4th floor checked in at 4pm, everything was good till about 7pm some people moved next to me they were extremely loud and kept slamming their door,i have a service dog of 9k investment and were making him jump and afraid every time they slammed that damn door after the 8th time i knocked on door and asked them very nicely (Can you please stop the kids from slamming the door so hard),then i guess the girl told front desk (Christine) and now bothers me and calls me in the room phone w a very rude atittude telling me that they told her that i knocked on door and that they felt uncomfortable and i said what about me im the one uncomfortable and says if i had an issue to call her instead,, and that she was gonna look to move me from room and i said i am not moving im not the problem here so you can move them (wich she never did) so again 6-7 more times they slamm the door and i call the front desk same individual (Christine) answered and i tell her this has to stop then they kept doing it (it is now 10pm) and ahe says ok ill go ahead and call them (meaning she didn't tell them anything the first time) so if she told them or not they did not stop and they kept doing it in purpose and talking loud,i finally fell asleep at 1am and woke up at 5am to check out by 6-7am she never did anything very unprofessional,,those people were ghetto and dirty threw their dirty towels out in hallway that night and they we're still there in the morning then i left,,funny there was complete silence,(i guess they must of finally went to sleep,thank you so much Christine for messing up my night and putting me in that predictament,prob will not return,,thinking of calling corporate hope the manager does something about this incident bc i did report it at check out. UPDATE: 03.04.24 @1035 management called me after seeing review,i explained again what exactly happened and she asked how can they make up for it (NOT OFFER REFUND) and i said all you can do is give me a full refund and so she said she would,, I haven't checked but if i am refunded i will update it here,.,reguardless this should of not happened...this was my experience there and with service animal.

I was in the region for work and booked several days at this location. Kim was great and got me checked in early. I appreciate her warm welcome. Rooms are spacious. Rooms: Large comfy bed and plenty of space for an extended stay. Food & drinks: Mix of fast food and sit down options in the near area.

That's the most comfort I've ever experienced in a hotel. It was perfect. I mean perfect!
