Red Roof Inn Rockford East - Casino District

This hotel has gone way downhill from a few years ago. It's fine if you want a cheap flop room for a night. No refrigerator, no microwave, and the bed linens could have used a half a bottle of good old bleach to get them decent. Sorry

Great location for a Casino run. Rooms were kept clean but they do have an odor which needs to be addressed by management.

The place is pretty run down and they make it difficult to get a room. Youll need a state ID and credit card to begin with. Me and my now fianc spent a night together at this place years ago and our love bloomed. We book a room at least once a year to remember the old time. This year we booked a few weeks in advance to get a good deal. When we tried to check in we were told our reservation was canceled. They could not find information on who, when, or why it was canceled, but it was. We had to call and again were told that it was canceled and that they couldnt find information on who called to cancel or when it was. There was also no notification of cancellation, even on their part. Despite all of this, we were told we would have to rebook the room. Unfortunately, this meant that we did not get the deal on the room and had to pay more. You would think a company would try to compensate for the troubles and the increased price of the room, but they verbally stone walled us and said there was nothing they could do. The sad part is that the rooms look like theyre falling apart on top of the bad service. Buyer beware, your room may be canceled at any time for reasons unknown and you will pay higher for it. This is bad business and I recommend you avoid this place like the plague.
