Extended Stay America Select Suites - Rockford - State Street

Very noisy. People in parking lot playing loud music at 11:30. Rooms were ok very old appliances. Really could use a upgrade.

Ive been staying here several times a year when Im in town. Its the only place that my family and I feel comfortable. Upon the last visit we were made aware of the changes in regards to purchasing cookware for the rooms and I was a little saddened until they said I could bring my own cookware, so 10/10 still for this particular establishment. The staff goes above and beyond and whats even more heartwarming is that no matter how long it has been since the last visit, they always remember my face. Nearby activities: Casino and plenty of shopping Walkability: Mostly everything is in walking distance and its nice to get out and walk in the spring and summer. Food & drinks: Restaurants everywhere, as well

To be completely honest, I have been staying in and out of hotels for the past 5 year's! Having a few personal issue's with a divorce and bad credit! Hate to say it, but it is what it is! But happy to say I have bee able to call extended stay my home, for the past almost 2 year's! After staying at a number of different hotels in the Rockford area, I must say this is the best. I can say the only hotel in the Rockford area that is CLEAN! This is the most important thing to me, and I would say to most, after owning a cleaning business and working in customer service for 15 years, I know what the standards should be for cleanliness, and extended stay definitely meets the criteria of excellence! Along with great customer service, I'm happy to call it home for now. Some people have asked me about the prices and how I could afford to stay here compared to the other hotels in the area. But honestly it's, not that much more, I'm happy to pay at the most $ 70 bucks more to stay here,in a clean room with friendly service, where I feel safe and , having no vehicle at the time, being able to walk to where I need to go, than any of the , hate to say it, discusting places with horrible rude employees much of the time, that can't even complete a request for 1 roll of toilet paper!? Thank you to the GM and staff for making my experience feel at home and safe. Safety: Feels very safe Food & drinks: Close by restaurants.. casino!
