    Terrible bank and terrible service. Had to get a replacement card on a Friday and couldnt activate it until Monday because apparently theres nobody there over the weekend to activate it. Come Monday I called again and was on hold for 45 minutes. So I pushed one to receive a call back and they never called back. Went to the bank and they told me to try again the next day!! Ive never had such terrible service with a bank before. Taking my business elsewhere

    This change over has been a nightmare.. with fraudulent activity hitting my Debit card from First Mid the first week I received it to not being able to transfer funds via my mobile device. I never once had a fraudulent activity on via my card when it was still Blackhawk Bank. More people like myself will be leaving First Mid! Absolutely unhappy with this change!

    HORRIBLE. Ever since they switched blackhawk to first mid Ive been having so many issues with my accounts. First, I was unable to access my checking account after the switch and had to go in and fix that issue. Second, I was unable to access my savings account by the ATM or any kind of transfers, Ive been up to fix this TWO TIMES. The first time I went was Friday the banker was not taking appointments because she leaves an hour early! Now I cannot access my money. I went again today and waited in a long line for 20 mins to be told I cant be helped 30 minutes before closing time because once again the banker has stopped taking appointments. Maybe you should change your hours to reflect the real hours youre helping customers.. because Ive waisted a lot of my time trying to fix these changes that I never asked for.
