I have lived awhile and was reluctant to see a therapist. It is difficult to find mature, qualified people who you can trust and benefit by their therapy. I saw a Bible in the waiting room, but no other reference to God in sessions, ever.
Spiritual therapy is an option. There are many therapists here with specialized qualifications. I was happy to note that they offer mediation for divorcing couples that help them to agree to a plan that is best for children. And many other types of therapy.
I feel as though I found gold. I highly recommend that you see all they have to offer if you need a little or a lot of help.
