I'm thrilled to share my positive experience with Springs at Oswego! From the start, Ally Franz, the Leasing Associate, made my husband and me feel welcome and supported throughout the application process. Her professionalism, kindness, and prompt responses put me at ease, especially when I was nervous about getting approved. Ally went above and beyond to answer all our questions and made us feel like we were her top priority. Her dedication and enthusiasm for the community shone through in every interaction. We're overjoyed to be moving into our beautiful new home at Springs at Oswego! The units are stunning, and the amenities are top-notch. My experience at the Springs at Oswego was generally positive. Despite residing in a studio apartment, I found it surprisingly spacious, which suited my frequent work-related travels. Management was commendably responsive and diligent in addressing any concerns I raised. The complex was consistently well-maintained, with the maintenance and cleaning teams ensuring all facilities and amenities were in order, and the premises remained tidy. Additionally, the amenities around the complex were great and the gym had just enough equipment to keep you busy, although I think it could benefit with the addition of a stair stepper, curling machines, and one or two other pieces of equipment. However, there were some drawbacks. The walls between units were notably thin, making it possible to hear neighbors at normal talking levels. Additionally, vibrations from the garage below were severely noticeable when doors opened and closed, contributing to major disturbances. Furthermore, one recurring issue was the frequent malfunctioning of the entrance gates, which were often left out of order. This compromised the sense of security for residents and was a notable inconvenience. Additionally, during winter weather conditions, the preparation of roads and parking lots seemed somewhat inadequate, which made navigating the property more challenging. While I found the price to be reasonable compared to apartments in Naperville and surrounding suburbs, I'm unsure if I would have chosen to stay here again if I were in Illinois full-time. I believe management should consider that beyond a certain price point, the prices charged for a studio may not be justifiable due to the quality of the units--which is certainly no fault of the management staff. Despite the drawbacks, my overall experience was positive, and I would rate it 4+ out of 5 stars. It is a good deal for what you receive, and the management staff goes above and beyond from my experience living in other apartment communities.

Do NOT lease with them. I've had a 1 year lease with them, and regret it. They're monthly costs are ridiculous, take on a bunch of useless crap to tack more fees onto you, and their front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional. You'd think they'd at least have the courtesy to treat their tenants with some form of respect, but all they see you as is someone to exploit for profit while doing the bare minimum if that. You'll be able to get the same quality at other locations without the high monthly payment amount. I was living alone in their smallest unit the size of a shoe box, and it was still around $2,000, where you'd be able to get a unit larger and for cheaper at other places. The only good thing is the maintenance team, which were very kind.

I enjoyed my time living here for the duration of my 15 month lease. The maintenance team was stellar and always took care of things quickly especially during the winter with snow. I would have renewed my lease, but we instead moved to a sister property down the road with single family homes (Avanterra Wolf's Crossing). My bad experience came after moving out and dealing with the office staff. Illinois law (765 ILCS 710/1) (from Ch. 80, par. 101) requires lessors to provide lessees an itemized statement of damages and costs for repair/replacement within 30 days of the lessee moving out or the lease ending, whichever is later, in order to withhold the deposit. Springs at Oswego failed to provide us with that in the required timeframe and we only found out a balance was due when we received a collections notice. It was at this time that the final account statement was provided to us for the first time. The office staff blamed it on a former employee and refused responsibility over the situation claiming it was out of their hands. They have claimed the collection agency is refusing turning the account back to Springs at Oswego and stated I should pay the collection agency to avoid impacting credit despite acknowledging this shouldn't have gone to collections. I requested documentation around the calls to the collection agency to turn the account back over to Springs at Oswego for my complaint to the FTC against the collection agency and that was denied. Requests for documentation of the account closure have also been denied. The requests to speak with a superior have been ignored as of the writing of this review. I cannot recommend leasing an apartment here based on my experience. Edit: After being in contact with Jillion, she has not only listened to my feedback, but she provided a satisfactory solution that dealt with the collection agency. She went above and beyond taking accountability on behalf of Springs at Oswego and I can wholeheartedly recommend leasing an apartment here.
