        I had a fantastic experience at American Mattress. I worked with Blake, who was extremely knowledgeable about all of the mattresses on location. I was allowed to spend several hours testing out mattresses, and Blake showed me an array of mattresses at various price points. At no time did I feel I was being up sold, he was extremely patient and I had a wonderful experience. To be honest, I was dreading the process of purchasing a mattress, and Blake made the process, very pleasurable and easy.

        Courtney, the sales lady, was helpful and professional. Great job outlining the products and prices of the items we ultimately purchased. We were also happy to hear that our order will be delivered a day earlier than originally anticipated.

      American Mattress was founded in 1988. Two co-workers from a local family owned mattress company became disheartened after the business was sold to a major corporation.The family owned culture quickly disappeared. Treating customers and employees like family was replaced by big corporate policies. The two friends decided to strike out on their own and create a company with a locally owned culture of friendships and treating every customer like family. The sleep industry had changed over the past 30 years, but the American Mattress brand has never wavered from its original beginnings and remains a symbol for unmatched customer service and the highest quality product offerings.
