Clarion Pointe Bloomington - Normal near I-55 and University

This hotel is uniquely disgusting. The sheets were dirty, the towels had marks, the toilet had urine on it, the nightstand had.... something. This hotel inoculates you from a whole host of diseases with the presence of bacteria everywhere. On the plus side, the door to the room shut and there was running water. That reminds me: there was a use bar of soap in the shower. What a bonus! Rooms: The door shuts and there are walls. That is the best that can be said.

New ownership is renovating a property that was clearly in terrible shape. They have put some high gloss lipstick on this pig, but it doesn't change what it is. The breakfast was picked over by 8am and there was no one available to restock missing items. The coffee was hot dark water. We weren't robbed in the night, so that was good.

Great place to stay. Renovated, nice breakfast. Clean rooms, attentive staff. Fitness room was new and well done. Murals are attractive. Bar may be available and swimming pool is on site Rooms: Nice, clean rooms, new furniture, bathroom was awesome Food & drinks: Breakfast was nice

I would not recommend this place. The room was freezing and dirty - the window was cracked, there was an old razor blade on the floor, the carpet was not cleaned, the bathroom was filthy. The breakfast bar had very limited food options and was also dirty. Parking space outside had beer cans and trash as well as a garden rake laying in the middle of a driveway. We only saw one staff who was at the front desk. Definitely not worth even a one night stay. Will not be coming back.

Came here as a CLC guy. They gave me a really nice room. Looks like a 42 or 46 in lcd tv. Direct TV package. Fridge with a freezer combo. Room is clean everything looks pretty updated. Climate control works well. The staff was very pleasant once they knew my name they called me by it. There's a few cosmetics that need done to the hotel but other than that I don't have a bad thing to say! I'd recommend the price is good!
