Solid experience at Mikes. After researching and comparing some 15 brands we landed on Aventon Pace 500 Next Gen. Having Mike close by for service is a definite advantage. With two bikes, my wife and i look forward to many day trips outings.

I was looking to purchase an e-bike after having a few experiences riding one while on vacations. I was looking for a retailer who not only sold e-bikes but serviced them as well. After visiting Mike's e-bikes and meeting Mike I knew I came to the right place. Mike has several brands of e-bikes to choose from. After reviewing the features and functionality of several bikes I was interested in with Mike, I decided to purchase the one that best suited my needs. There's always two sides to every story when it comes to doing business. I will admit, I'm new to cycling, mainly bicycles, electric ones at that. I emailed Mike over a year ago on a whim just to gauge some interest and ideas on this growing fascination of mine to explore when I don't want to be on the road with my motorcycle. I wanted to stay active in areas that I haven't been in while being able to experience a freedom that was unchartered. Mike answered my emails fairly promptly and never pressured me to buy a thing. To be fair, I actually inquired about quite a few other models, but based off of explanation on what I was looking for in a bike, in the 'ride', etc. He gave me a few additional options to choose from. In the end, I made a 'window shopping' decision and decided to research one particular brand, Aventon. I did this on my own for nearly a year off and on. Then, a month or so back, I decided to ping Mike again and inquire about seeing the bike(s) in person. I had no real intention to buy, I just wanted to see how it was going to 'fit and feel'. We ironed out a day and time and when we showed up, he was friendly and just let me do my thing. Again, no pressure, just filled me in with answers I had questions to, and I still had quite a lot. Well, in the end, I made a purchase, simply because I value local/small business as they keep our economy going. Also because I don't know what other people may have said about Mike per some of the review below mine, but I never dealt with Mike in any negative way; never had scheduling issues, irate interactions.. nothing. In fact, during the purchase (after the fact), we noticed a few small hiccups that weren't in any fault of Mike's rather, Aventons - and he still made it beyond whole. I never demanded a thing from him nor expected but he really went the extra mile (pun intended) to make sure I was satisfied. All in all, 5 star experience. From the beginning of inquiries, to the no-pressure sales, pleasant interactions and great follow-ups, I don't see why I would go anywhere else. I can't wait to take it to the trails and have some fun. Thanks Mike, look forward to doing business with you again soon.
