Very nice hotel. Very clean, great front staff. Very friendly. Loved the pool.

This hotel use to be great. We would stay here for my annual shopping spree at gurnee mills mall. I was so disappointed how the food was. Coffee was Luke warm.
The room had torn lamp shades. No kleenex in bathroom. Screen window was torn up looking like someone tried to get in.
I will never stay here again.

Comfortable clean rooms even during the remodeling.

Hotel was not what we expected. I had a one bedroom suite which was disappointing. We had a cracked bedroom window, TV kept going in and out but the size of the bathroom was my biggest issue. Everything was crammed together. The toilet was literally at the door so you had to move to the side just to close the door. Very weird and uncomfortable. The shower was literally 1 inch from the toilet. Just no room to move and be comfortable.
The hotel was being renovated, which made it unappealing. I wish hotels would update their website to inform future guests of this. Boxes everywhere, rugs pulled up and just ruined the joy our vacation.
And lastly, that pool was a joke. It's the smallest pool I have ever seen. There was a group of old people there hogging it every morning doing exercises so my kids couldn't try to enjoy it then and it was just too many little kids in there in the evening that it was no room for them to play and nowhere for me to sit....it was literally a box. Like what's the point?
We stayed Tuesday through Friday and the breakfast was the same thing every day: gooey oatmeal, fake sausages, and weird eggs. It was a waste of an amenity because my kids nor myself wanted to eat there, so I had to still buy breakfast smh.
Just not what I wanted for spring break
