Beware of these guys! TCI is a low-end no guarantee transport brokers with horrible customer service that own no trucks of their own, which means that they are using 3rd party truckers and basically feel zero reasonability to honor any pre-arranged bookings in case that they are unable to find a track to fulfill your reservation. We booked a round-trip transfer of our family car from NJ to Miami and back. TCI barley made the pickup date from NJ and only after several calls and multiple reminders they were able to identify a run-down truck to pick up our car, which arrived to Miami 2 days later all covered with oil stains that required professional cleaning to remove. That was actually the successful part of our experience with TCI! Two months later, on the scheduled return week, and keeping our previous experience in mind, we called 3 times in advance to make sure that the pick up will take place as scheduled and to remind them that we are leaving Miami on a flight the following morning and cannot have our car stay in Miami by itself as we will be back in NJ. We were assured that everything is on schedule and that we should hear back from a driver that will be assigned to transfer our car. Our concerns grow by the hour as we received no call back and had to reach out to TCI again the morning of our last day in Miami, just to be assured that they are working on this and we should hear back from them shortly with a solution. Only in the afternoon of our last day, the owner (Kaleb) admitted that he is unable to find any drivers to pick up our car and went immediately on the attack claiming that this is our problem as we should have taken into consideration that this was Easter weekend and many drivers took the weekend off and also added that we are a very problematic and un-flexible customer for not having someone to leave our car with in Miami until they figure a solution. Needless to say, that this uncalled-for response was totally rude and unacceptable as the booking was made 3 months in advance and we made it super clear that the car must be picked by the last day of our stay as we have no one to take care of it when we are back in NJ. As we were left with no other solution and were provided with zero accommodation or an alternative solution by TCI, we had to cancel our flight back and start a 1,200-mile road-trip back to NJ. Putting aside the horrible experience we just went through, what really struck us was the complete luck of empathy and customer care and the attempt to put this all situation on us as a difficult client. We will be going after TCI to claim our monetary damages (flight tickets, fuel, hotel, tolls), but want to make sure that others avoid this nightmare.
