I have been a customer of this location for six years. I've always known the back end systems for h&r block proper integration. This particular office has moved to a remote office, there's been no premium support. My taxes were assigned originally to accountant who had left the company despite the fact being told in advance that person no longer worked here, and I had to go in through the mobile app to register. The mobile app was broken, but I did find it back door through the website to fill in the rest of my documents. The person at the front desk was nice enough to scan in my documents, and if I going through the 800 number I was able to track down the status of my taxes, identify that they assigned it to someone no longer working for the company, and eventually get it assigned to an actual accountant under employment. I was scheduled to come in and sign the documents, but totally again that at the location there is no accounts available. So the final issue, the final straw is a total lack of a address for me to go sign my documentation. I understand trying to push people to mobile to keep your costs down, but you do have to maintain your customers in the process. There's a reason I signed up for premium services and not doing my taxes myself, which would have been far more efficient I expect given this experience. Finally, it would be nice if I was remembered as a customer. In the process of working around to get my taxes filed I did receive a phone call that I had an appointment a week prior to come in for taxes. I was notified that they moved to remote office the week after I had shown up for the meeting to get my paperwork done. Experience is left me feeling the current h&r block is totally disorganized. A business without employees is not a business.
