Room seemed like it had been overly cleaned with solvent smell Nice room otherwise. Breakfast was decent. Coffee was good.

Rooms need renovation and a deep cleaning. Bed was very uncomfortable, more peaks and valleys than the Appalachians. Front desk staff refused to move us...I understand the hotel was full the night we were there for the eclipse, but it wasn't full at noon when the request was made since most guests hadn't arrived yet. Breakfast was just sad...very limited options of wet eggs, burnt crispy sausage, and a couple packaged yogurts and cereals. There's also no reason for housekeeping to knock on doors that have a 'do not disturb' on the handle...yet they did! Even setting expectations low for a 2* hotel, this is a bad one compared to other properties in the same price range. Worst hotel I've stayed at in last 10 years (over 200 hotel nights in those 10 years).

Front desk was ABSOLUTLEY helpful and friendly. Breakfast was HORRIBLE. The attendant (older guy) was RUDE, food was old, cold and NASTY. Rooms were clean, hotel overall was clean. Great location!
