VCA Ark Animal Hospital

I just started with this location due to a mild pet emergency and my original vet not having an opening I have honesty never had such a positive experience with a vet or even MD provider. The communication is phenomenal, the people are friendly, and my pup was incredibly well taken care of. Immensely grateful for the folks here and will def be going back for my usual animal checkups here. Thanks again, fam!

I used to love this place. Won't ever go there again. After it changed owners years ago it became way more expensive and they add a lot of unneeded things to requested services. Make sure you go over your estimates before you approve anything.

Amazing experience Ive ever had ! Doctor Padilla-Velez was amazing ! She helped me with my cat Tommy who was not feeling well and was going through different types of problems. She explain everything that was going to happen and broke it down clearly and I was able to understand everything that was going on with Tommy ! She did an amazing job with him . After his visit she did a check up to see how he was doing and his progress ! I will def come back here and make this Tommy primary doctor !!

UPDATED REVIEW: THIS SCAM LOCATION GAVE MY KITTEN UNNECESSARY VACCINES FOR PROFIT. This place doesnt even deserve the single star im required to give them. I came to this location with a feral kitten that was recently adopted a month before. I specifically explained well over 5 different times to their staff at multiple different points (while making the appt, before exam AND during) that my kitten has already been given his first round of vaccines as he was originally a TNR (trap, neuter, release). I am new to cat ownership so i trusted this office to give me only treatment that is necessary. I was asked multiple times if my cat is an indoor cat, and even after specifying that he never leaves the house, this office recommended outdoor kitten vaccines and did not bother to mention that they are not always necessary for an indoor kitten. They then gave my kitten an extra dose of a vaccine that he ALREADY HAD. So my kitten was lethargic the entire next few days for absolutely no reason due to this office's MEDICAL NEGLIGANCE. After giving him these vaccines, the receptionist comes into the office visibly embarassed and explains she didnt know my cat already had vaccines. Excuse me, how do you not write down such important specifics that ive told you multiple times? And on top of that, of course they had the nerve to charge me for both the outdoor cat vaccines and the vaccine he already had before, both not necessary. So many disgusting mistakes, i am currently in the process of charging this back to AMEX, i wouldnt be surprised if they had the gall to try and fight the charge. Oh, and did i mention I called to inform them of the situation, and they mention that a manager would get back to me in 5 DAYS? and they didnt even respond after those 5 days. Pathetic business should be shut down. I dont write reviews unless i feel i can make a difference, PLEASE DO NOT PATRON VCA ARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL THEY ARE CRIMINALS very overpriced. average vaccine price is 25-50, here they charge upwards of 90$
