Prior to selling our home in Lincoln Park we received a form letter from realtor Laura Lattin (@properties Chicago Goose Island)who lived a block away, stating interest in moving her family into a larger home. We were planning to list our home in the near future and made an appointment for her to come see it. She took a lengthy tour, requested a second tour and did not make an offer. We listed our home a few months later with an agent who is a friend of ours. Laura Lattin again returned for a showing and told our friend/agent that we were quite overpriced and that no home on our block had ever sold for over X amount. We knew this was incorrect as we were a semi custom build and had purchased the house for 150k over her stated amount 13 years prior. No offer this time either and then she came back a FOURTH time, complained again about pricing, no offer. We sold for 200k over the amount she was quoting that she felt it should be listed at. I would not recommend hiring her as an agent as she lacks market knowledge and does not seem to possess basic etiquette skills
