United States Postal Service - Closed

Absolutely horrible postal worker at this facility. She told us today they are closing this post office at the end of May. No info on how they will collect mail for this huge office building.

While service has been questionable in the past, allowances needed to be made between the pandemic and Louis Dejoy, but the last time I was in there I needed to send a package and the woman behind the counter charged me an extra $5.00 for a Liberty stamp.  When I questioned her what the extra charge was for I got an angry, snippy response of, "You want me to put the postage on the box, don't you?"  WTF?  That's your job.  I had my friend take a photo of the postage and there was no Liberty stamp on it, just the print out postage.  So, she either pocketed the money or the stamp herself.  She appears to be the only one working there, so there is no one to complain to.  And the USPS doesn't seem to be providing any oversight, because I did complain to my US representative and got no response.  Perhaps I will try the Postmaster General.  If you don't mind being charged for items that you don't receive, by all means, go to this post office location, but I will not be crossing that threshold for some time.  P.S. There is a FedEx on the second floor with better customer service and depending on what you are mailing, prices seem comparable.

Older woman working here is the laziest USPS worker i've ever encountered. It was actually worth it for me to go upstairs to FedEx so i wouldn't make a scene. Worst customer service i've ever had. 0/5 stars
