Rooms: Rooms were nice but bedding was a little stiff/rough. Hair on pillows I assume was from housekeeping as it was on pillows on both beds in the room. No shower gel in bathroom.
Nearby activities: Restaurants close enough to walk or uber.
Safety: Parking was full and although addt'l outside parking was available approximately a block away felt unsafe due to the late hour I had to arrive for work.
Noteworthy details: Front desk staff did accommodate me with a parking spot in their parking facility on my second day due to a staffperson observing my handicap status.

We stayed for 1 night on the 14th floor. Our room was fine. It needed updated, but was clean and our bed was comfy. The room was a king suite with a corner balcony view of Chicago's buildings. There was a coffee machine and a mini fridge in the room.
This is a beautiful old building with an old Chicago feel. Some things needed updated (like outlets by the desk) and we did hear traffic all night long. But over all we had a great experience.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the train stain, the credit union one arena, and many places to eat, shop, and explore!
The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved walking around to see all of the works of art in the area.
Parking - So parking was different from what we were used to. I think that is all over Chicago, though. You really need to talk to a local to get the 411 on where and how to park in Chicago. There is hotel parking that is conveniently located across the street for a fee. But we found much cheaper parking a block away. So know ahead of time where you plan to park.
They do have a restaurant at the hotel. We did not try it out. We decided to explore Chicago a bit and try out a local restriction.
The staff was kind and accommodating. They were professional and friendly. We enjoyed our time here and will probably be back for another stay.
